Our Story

TLC began in 1999 with just a handful of people in an old leather factory that was gifted in the older, less desirable part of town.  It was in bad shape - having sat vacant and neglected for years - but the staff dedicated it to the Lord and began to work.  A new roof  was added as well as heating, air conditioning, and many much-needed repairs.  Services began and by word of mouth the church grew.

The six acres adjacent to the current property has since been purchased. Most recently, the bar next door has been remodeled to be used as our new Youth Facility.

Our passion is to raise up a house of sincere worship to our God without walls of judgment, religion or pride so that all feel welcome.  The hurting, poor and rejected continue to flood in our doors.  Over the past 21 years, we have seen countless people accept the Lord; many others have been renewed and received the fullness of the Holy Spirit.  In all that we have seen, we’ve only just begun!

We welcome you to worship with us.  There is a place for you here.
