DANCE TEAM AUDITION APPLICATION
We are excited about your interest in auditioning for our TLC Dance Team. Here at TLC, we are very serious about the worship in our house and recognize the call on this house to be a resting place for God’s presence. Because ministering to the Lord is our highest value, we pursue that calling with a passion, holiness and an excellence in our God given talents. We also recognize in furthering that call that we are to be a training center raising up worshippers for the Kingdom in this last day and hour.
Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh;A time to mourn, And a time to dance.

Psalm 149:3 Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

Jeremiah 31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, And the young men and the old, together; For I will turn their mourning to joy, Will comfort them, And make them rejoice rather than sorrow.
Auditions will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 starting at 6:00PM (for practice) and 6:30PM (for auditions) in the TLC auditorium. Once your application has been approved we will contact you and send you a link of a choreographed dance that we would like for your to learn and perform at your audition.

Also, in addition to your choreographed audition, if you would like to tryout for the Prophetic Dance Team, prepare something prophetically on your own to the same song. At prophetic dance auditions, we will have flags and streamers if you would like to use them with your dance.

TLC DANCE TEAM EXPECTATIONS

Below are the list of requirements to audition for the TLC Dance Team. If you find that you do not meet all of these requirements, but would like to move forward to do so, please call our church office at 580-224-0777 so we can walk beside you to help you fulfill them. We want to meet you where you are are and help you possess all that God has for you!

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP AND FAITHFULNESS:
Must have completed the Next Step Class (our church membership class) and been an active and faithful member at TLC for a minimum of three months attending services and events and serving on one of our TLC Serve Teams.

CALLING AND GIFTING:
All applicants must have a God calling and desire to worship and possess God given musical talent.

TEACHABILITY:
We ask that you have the heart posture of a servant and be willing to receive instruction with a desire for growth and willingness to be encouraged and even corrected for the purpose of training.

INTEGRITY:
We ask that each team member live a holy lifestyle and maintain a godly reputation in the community, demonstrating a high level of humility, integrity and accountability. (No life controlling issues, addiction, immorality, rebellion, etc.)

HOLY SPIRIT LED:
Must be filled with the Holy Spirit and have a sensitivity to the Spirit and ability to spontaneously flow with the worship leader and team.

PUNCTUALITY:
Must honor practice schedules, responsibilities and stage call arrival times for all practices and services.

TLC Dance Team Audition Application

At auditions you will be judged in the following categories:

1. Your ability to follow rhythm.

2. Your ability to learn choreography.

3. Your ability to follow the Spirit in creative movement.

4. Your attitude and heart posture toward God and of a servant in God’s house.
