Romans 12:21 — “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Father, we come to You with heavy hearts in this moment of grief. Lord, help us to walk in truth. Guard us from bitterness, from anger, from the temptation to repay hurt with hurt.
Fill Your people with courage to stand strong, with faith to trust You fully, and with love that shines even in darkness. Let the Church be known NOT for vengeance, but for the power of Christ living in us. May Your Spirit lead us to respond in ways that glorify You, heal hearts, and point this nation back to Jesus.
